Lake Hiawatha

Bellingham/Blackstone  Massachusetts

Membership / Dues

Membership Information:

The annual dues are $100.00 per household.

Residents living on the water and those who live in the surrounding area are welcome to join. Becoming  a member of the Lake Hiawatha Association allows you to use the beach located on Lakeshore Drive as well as the boat launch on Marcel Lane.

The Association maintains the beach area making sure it is cleaned of debris in the spring. We do our best to maintain the area throughout the season. We ask that you help keep the area clean and adhere to the rules that are posted. There is NO FISHING from the beach at any time. You are allowed to launch a float or kayak from the beach area. Lake Wardens do check the beach on a regular basis and you will be asked to leave if you are not a current member. We encourage you to be present if you have company and want to use the beach area.

Boating and Fishing is allowed at the end of Marcel Lane. This is a CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY lake. Please adhere to this rule at all times.

Since we are a private lake, The LHA pays for the deweeding of our lake each summer. This is our biggest expense.  We usually have two treatments per season and we do inform residents of the exact dates.

Lake Hiawatha  is home to much wildlife. Please do not disturb their habitats especially in early spring when the baby ducks, geese and swanlets are born.
